Home Ground is a welcoming central space uniting our community through the food they cook and eat. Our daily wholesome canteen, training schemes for marginalised groups and platform for local food makers creates a positive impact on people’s lives and our town.
Entrance is at the rear of Rock House off Claremont.
i-Rock are a service for young people aged 14-25 in the Hastings area. We offer holistic support around wellbeing, mental health, education, employment, and housing. We are extremely fortunate to have a team of experienced youth specialists on board at Rock House, and have good links with local youth organisations. Since our launch in June we have been working hard to improve outcomes for individuals and for the local community as a whole. We are open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10-6. Named after their last shared workspace, The Old Bakery, they moved en masse to Rock House and expanded. A mix of creative and technical disciplines include expertise in design and media (print, web and everything else), photography, website development, animal welfare, youth projects and initiatives, event management, as well as much more besides.

Portrait and Event Photographer Cathy Teesdale has a wide variety of experience in naturalistic photography. In 2013 she founded the Humans of Greater London (HOGL) project, and their book was published in 2016. She now manages the growing team from Hastings, from where she continues to take on projects nationally and locally, including as one of the ‘Four Lenses’ recording the regeneration of the Observer Building.
